The Museum of Norwich on Bridewell Alley has a new Kett’s Rebellion Virtual Reality experience. Free to use in an special area in the museum shop, the experience lasts for six minutes and covers the period from the arrival of the Earl of Warwick, to Kett’s final defeat at the Battle of Dussindale (27 August 1549).
I much enjoyed the 360 degrees experience, which is a most valuable addition to telling the story of Kett and his followers during the summer of 1549. The museum is open Tuesday to Saturday 10am to 4.30pm.
I spent ages in your fantastic museum in April but somehow didn’t notice the Kett’s Rebellion VR Experience. I hope to return later this year. I am a huge fan of the Shardlake books and of course “Tombland”.
